Cambodia was the second country I visited in Southeast Asia and was a big change from my first stop in Thailand. Cambodia is much more undeveloped than its Thai neighbor. Surprisingly, it also seemed more expensive - maybe because most prices are quoted in dollars. Anyway, I loved my time in Cambodia and highly suggest a visit. It's especially perfect if you prefer the grungier, less built up travel destinations.
**USD are also used in Cambodia. As the ATMs dispense USD, I found myself dealing with a combination of dollars and riel.
